The current Direct Express® Mobile app is intended for cards beginning with 533248 and requires registration with the card details before first use. Cards beginning with 511563 use a separate Direct Express app identified by the yellow logo. Direct Express® is designed for recipients of federal benefits, with payments deposited directly to the prepaid card account. The card can be used for purchases, ATM withdrawals, cash back at participating retailers, online payments, and other supported transactions. Security and account access remain central parts of the mobile experience, providing a convenient way to monitor and manage available funds.
