• Get Notified – the information about any earthquake or volcanic activity goes directly to your device! If you download the GeoNet app you can choose to receive notifications of earthquakes by proximity to your location. The app uses your device’s GPS so you will get alerts about your current location! You can also set up alerts for multiple locations
• Report Shakings – using the GeoNet app you can report any shakings that you experience. In the app it’s quick and easy to submit you own report even during an earthquake. Choose the what kind of shaking you have experienced, whether it was light or very heavy and let other know even up to one hour following an earthquake!
• Earthquakes Map – the GeoNet app provides the users with all details about the earthquakes located in and around New Zealand. You can see any quakes withing a few minutes after they occur. View the map and see all recent earthquakes with their location. If you are a technical user you can also check peak ground accelerations and velocities
